Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 July 2026

Kache is a self-custody wallet made by BlockSheep Labs, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("BlockSheep", "we", "us", "our"). It is designed so that you stay in control of your keys and your data. This policy explains what the Kache browser extension and this website do and do not collect.

The short version

  • Your recovery phrase and private keys are generated and encrypted on your device. They never leave it and are never sent to us.
  • There is no sign-up, no account, and no email. We cannot access or move your funds.
  • The wallet works without collecting personal information. Optional, anonymous usage analytics are turned off by default.

What we do not collect

  • Your recovery phrase and private keys. These are created on your device and encrypted locally with a password-derived key. They are never transmitted to us or to anyone else.
  • Account information. Kache has no accounts. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or identity.
  • Your funds. Kache is non-custodial. We never take custody of your assets and cannot spend, freeze, or recover them.

Public blockchain data

Transactions you make are recorded on public blockchains. Data such as wallet addresses, transaction hashes, amounts, and balances is public and permanent by the nature of blockchains. We do not control this and cannot change or delete it. Anyone can view on-chain data, and it may be linked to you by third parties independent of Kache.

Optional anonymous analytics

To understand which features are used and to improve the wallet, Kache can send anonymous usage events. This is off by default and only happens if you turn on Settings and then Share anonymous analytics in the extension.

If you opt in:

  • We record coarse, non-identifying events (for example, that a send or swap completed), along with the app version and your operating system family (such as "Windows" or "macOS").
  • We never send your recovery phrase, private keys, addresses, balances, amounts, transaction details, token identifiers, or any personally identifiable information.
  • Events are processed by Aptabase, a privacy-focused analytics provider (no cookies, no cross-site tracking, no account identifiers). A random, ephemeral session identifier is used and rotates over time.

You can turn analytics off at any time in the extension settings.

Data the wallet sends to work

Like any wallet, Kache has to contact network services to show balances, prices, and history, and to broadcast transactions you approve. When it does, those services can see your IP address and the information needed for the request (for example, a public wallet address in order to look up its balance, or a signed transaction in order to broadcast it). This is inherent to how blockchains and wallets work. The services Kache contacts include:

  • Kache API and CDN (api.kachewallet.com, assets.kachewallet.com) for prices, token metadata, price history, and token logos.
  • Kaspa nodes for Layer 1 balances and to broadcast transactions.
  • Kasplex and Igra RPC endpoints for Layer 2 balances and transactions.
  • Block explorers and token indexers to list token and NFT holdings.
  • Bridge and swap providers when you use those features (they receive the transaction details needed to route it).
  • Decentralized apps (dApps) that you choose to connect to. When you connect, that site receives your public address and can request signatures or transactions, which you must approve.

How we use information

We use the limited information described above only to operate and improve the Service: to display your balances and activity, to build and broadcast transactions you authorize, to show prices and market data, and (if you opt in) to understand feature usage in aggregate. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.

How we share information

We do not sell your data. We share only what is necessary for the Service to work, with the service providers listed above acting as processors (for example, Aptabase for opted-in analytics, and the network, explorer, and provider endpoints needed to fulfill your requests). We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, though because we hold so little, there is normally nothing to disclose.

This website

This website (kachewallet.com) is hosted on Vercel and served through Cloudflare. To measure traffic and performance we use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, and optionally Cloudflare Web Analytics. These are aggregate and anonymous, and do not use tracking cookies to identify you.

Data security and retention

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) for our services, and the wallet encrypts your keys at rest on your device. We keep the little data we do process only for as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. Because the wallet holds no accounts and stores keys locally, we do not maintain a store of your personal information.

International transfers

Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. For example, opted-in analytics are processed by Aptabase, and the website is served by Vercel and Cloudflare, whose infrastructure is global. By using the Service you understand your information may be processed in countries other than your own.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU/UK GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to access, correct, or delete personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Because we collect so little and hold no accounts, the main choices available to you are:

  • Turn analytics off at any time in the extension settings (it is off by default).
  • Contact us to make a request. Note that public blockchain data cannot be changed or deleted by us.

Children

Kache is not directed to children and is not intended for anyone under the age of 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
