Terms of Service
Last updated: 2 July 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Kache wallet, including the browser extension and this website (together, the "Service"). The Service is provided by BlockSheep Labs, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("BlockSheep", "we", "us", "our"). Kache Wallet is a product of BlockSheep Labs, LLC. By installing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You may use the Service only if you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. You may not use the Service if you are located in, or are a resident of, any country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions, or if you are on any restricted-party or sanctions list, or where your use would be illegal. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you.
2. What Kache is
Kache is a non-custodial (self-custody) cryptocurrency wallet for the Kaspa network and its layer-2 chains. It lets you generate keys, hold assets, sign transactions, and connect to decentralized apps. We do not operate the Kaspa network or any blockchain, and we never take custody of, control, or have access to your assets or keys.
3. Your keys and your responsibility
- Your recovery phrase and private keys are generated and stored on your device. You are solely responsible for keeping them safe, including backing up your recovery phrase and keeping your device and password secure.
- We cannot recover your wallet. If you lose your recovery phrase and access to your device, your funds cannot be recovered by us or anyone else.
- Anyone with your recovery phrase can take your funds. Never share it. We will never ask you for it.
4. No custody and no advice
- We never hold, control, or have access to your assets. All transactions are initiated and authorized by you on your device.
- Nothing in the Service is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. You are responsible for your own decisions.
5. Assumption of risk
Using cryptocurrency involves significant risk. You acknowledge and accept that:
- Transactions on a blockchain are generally irreversible. A transaction sent to the wrong address or network may be permanently lost.
- Digital assets are volatile and may lose value.
- Bridges, swaps, smart contracts, and dApps carry their own risks, including bugs, exploits, slippage, and loss of funds. When you swap or bridge, Kache acts only as an interface to third-party providers and is not a counterparty to your transaction.
- Networks may experience congestion, forks, downtime, or changes outside our control.
You use the Service at your own risk.
6. Fees
The wallet itself is free to use. You pay the network's own transaction fees. Optional actions such as bridging and swapping may include a small, clearly shown Kache fee in addition to network and third-party provider fees. Blockchain and provider fees are not refundable.
7. Taxes
You are solely responsible for determining what taxes apply to your transactions and for reporting and paying them. We do not provide tax advice and are not responsible for your tax obligations.
8. Third-party services and dApps
The Service relies on and can connect to third parties, including network nodes, RPC endpoints, block explorers, bridge and swap providers, and decentralized apps. We do not control these third parties, do not endorse them, and are not responsible for their availability, security, or conduct. Your use of any dApp or third-party service is between you and that third party.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to break the law, to facilitate illegal activity, to infringe others' rights, or to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system. You also agree not to reverse engineer, copy, modify, or redistribute the Service except as expressly permitted by its license (see Section 10).
10. Intellectual property and license
The Kache name, logo, and software are owned by BlockSheep Labs, LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. The source code is made available for transparency and review only, under a proprietary license that does not grant rights to reuse, modify, fork, or redistribute it. See the license included with the source code. These Terms grant you no rights to our trademarks.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or discontinue the Service, or any part of it, at any time. Because the Service is non-custodial, ending your use does not affect your assets: your keys and funds remain yours, and you can restore them in any compatible wallet with your recovery phrase. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 10, 12, 13, 14, and 16) will survive.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any information (such as prices) is accurate.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BlockSheep Labs, LLC and its members, officers, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of funds, profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees you paid to us for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) US $100. Because Kache is non-custodial and we do not control your keys or the blockchain, we are not responsible for losses resulting from your own actions, lost recovery phrases, third-party services, or blockchain events.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BlockSheep Labs, LLC and its members, officers, and agents from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing any claim, you agree to first contact us and try in good faith to resolve the dispute informally. Any dispute not resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue there.
