Connecting to dApps

Kache works with decentralized apps on the Kaspa L2s. On Kasplex and Igra it exposes a standard window.ethereum provider (EIP-1193), the same interface MetaMask and other EVM wallets use, so most EVM dApps recognize it automatically.

Find an app

Open the Explorer tab for a directory of apps in the Kaspa ecosystem. Each one opens in a new tab.

Connect

  1. On the dApp, click its Connect Wallet button and choose Kache.
  2. Kache opens a prompt showing the site asking to connect.
  3. Pick the wallet to share and approve. The site then sees your L2 address (a 0x… address).

A site only ever gets an address until you approve something more. It never sees your recovery phrase or keys.

Approve requests

When a dApp wants you to sign a message or send a transaction, Kache shows the details and waits for you to confirm. Nothing happens until you approve.

  • Signatures prove you control the address. Read what you are signing.
  • Transactions move funds or interact with a contract. Check the amount and the site before you confirm.

Switch networks

A dApp can ask to switch between Kasplex and Igra, and Kache updates the active L2 for that site. You can also switch networks yourself from settings.

Manage connected sites

You stay in control of what is connected:

  • Disconnect a site from the dApp itself, or revoke its access from Kache.
  • Switching wallets prompts connected sites to re-connect to the newly selected wallet.

Only connect to sites you trust, and read every request before approving. A signature or transaction can authorize real actions on your funds.

Watch-only wallets can't sign, so they can't connect to dApps.
