KNS (.kas) Names

The Kaspa Name Service (KNS) maps a human-readable name like alice.kas to a Kaspa address, so people can pay you at a name instead of a long string of characters.

Using a name to receive

If you own a .kas name, share it instead of your address. Anyone sending from Kache can type the name and Kache resolves it automatically.

Sending to a name

1. On the Send screen, enter a name like alice.kas as the recipient.
2. Kache resolves it and shows the underlying address on the review screen.
3. Confirm as usual.

Managing your names

Open the KNS tab on your wallet to see the .kas names you hold. From there you can view details and manage a name. Names appear as assets in your wallet and can be transferred like any other holding.
