Is Kache self-custody?
Yes. Your recovery phrase is generated and encrypted on your own device and never sent anywhere. Kache cannot access or move your funds. Only you can. See the Security Model.
Which networks does Kache support?
Kaspa Layer 1 (KAS, KRC-20 tokens, KRC-721 NFTs), plus the Kasplex zkEVM and Igra EVM layer-2s. One wallet, one set of keys, all of them. See Kaspa & Layer-2s.
Does Kache cost anything?
The wallet is free. You pay the network's own transaction fees, plus a small, clearly-shown fee only on optional bridge and swap actions. Plain sends have no Kache fee.
Is there a mobile app?
Not yet. Kache is a browser extension today, and native iOS and Android apps are coming soon. When they launch, you'll restore the same wallet on mobile with your recovery phrase, so your addresses and balances match.
Does Kache support a hardware wallet?
Not currently. Kache is a software wallet that keeps your encrypted keys on your device. Hardware wallet support isn't available yet.
Can I connect to dApps?
Yes, on the Kaspa L2s. Kache exposes a standard window.ethereum provider on Kasplex and Igra, so most EVM dApps
work with it. See Connecting to dApps.
Do the L2s use the same address?
Your Kaspa address is a kaspa:… address. Your Kasplex and Igra address is a single 0x… address shared across both
L2s. Confirm the network when sending or receiving, not just the address.
Can I see the code?
Yes. Kache's source is published on GitHub for transparency. It's released under a license that reserves our rights, so it isn't open source in the free-to-fork sense.
